Biographical: Attorney Joel Sawyer has been licensed with the USPTO since 2018. Scientific qualification through Schedule C by passing the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (Michigan Board) in 2017. Wrote and designed an online-based Patent Bar Exam education course available through Skyludus, LLC (formerly at Skyludus.com). Licensed to practice law in North Carolina since 2003. Graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Law. Western Guilford High School graduate and current resident of Greensboro. Other legal work covers a wide array of both civil and criminal law. Sawyer is a former Assistant District Attorney (District 17B) in NC and has worked at various law firms before opening his law office in 2010. Currently employed as a founding associate and trial coordinator at iTicket.Law.
Services: Offering patent services before the USPTO. Focusing primarily on "patent prosecution," which is the filing of patent applications (as opposed to patent litigation). Available for patent prior art searches and patentability opinions.
